Kristina is an experienced regulatory counsel with strong professional and academic background in financial sector supervision, regulation, consumer protection, compliance and government. She is an effective communicator with strong legal drafting and analytical skills. Kristina primarily handles complex banking & finance and regulatory & compliance matters and acts as a leading lawyer in the firm’s corporate governance desk. In addition, Kristina advises on consumer protection & ADR mechanisms, as well as leads the firm’s efforts in mandates involving ethical issues, providing full scope of services including drafting and implementation of codes of conduct and staff training.

Prior to joining Four Legal, Kristina worked for the central bank of Serbia for almost 18 years, where she directly influenced the development of the Serbian financial sector landscape by taking part in drafting and implementation of all of the most significant Serbian financial regulations. She served as both the central bank’s Head of Compliance and the Head of Division for Financial Consumer Protection.

Kristina holds a PhD from the Law Faculty, University of Belgrade and a Professional Certificate of Competency in field of Compliance (ALCO Luxembourg).
